KRISHI VIGYAN KENDRA SINDEWAHI DIST- CHANDRAPUR      

Krishi Vigyan Kendra Sindewahi is a constituent KVK of Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Vidyapeeth, Akola. It is established as a remandated KVK, in the year 2000. This Krishi Vigyan Kendra for High Rainfall Zone of Eastern Vidarbha Region is in operation since July 2002.The Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Sindewahi started functioning on regular basis from April 2004 as per ICAR approval.

The mandate of KVK is as follows:

1.To assess and evaluate agricultural technology through on farm testing keeping in view the prevailing farming system and situation.

2.To plan and conduct long and short term vocational training programme on various agril. Enterprise.

3.To organize need based and demand driven in-service training for extension functionaries.

4.To conduct demonstrations on technologies related to production processing and value addition in various agricultural enterprises
